My recent photography travels took me to my home state of Illinois!
It was a blast being back home in Chicago and for an even better cause!
I have recently teamed up with Christine Nendick and The Rescue Runway project. The Rescue Runway is a movement that helps get attention to animals that need homes.
"I am trying to spread awareness of adoption to people who may not have been aware of it before." -Christine Nendick
Christine travels to different animal shelters in the Chicagoland area and takes pictures with a handful of animals that are looking for forever homes. The Rescue Runway couples the hottest fashion with the cutest animals, giving us information on the clothes she is wearing and the animals that are pictured. This shoot brought us to the Heartland Animal Shelter in Northbrook, Illinois. Were we met some pretty great dogs looking for a new home!
The Rescue Runway is seeing a lot of success since its beginning and in fact since the shoot on May 26th two dogs of the four we photographed have been adopted.
